March 24, 2007SCORN, the project led by former NAPALM DEATH drummer Mick Harris, has completed work on a new album, entitled "Didn't Ask to be Here". The CD contains eight tracks with a running time of roughly 48 minutes and is scheduled to be released in June. More information will be made available soon.
According ti Wikipedia, Mick Harris' recording debut was as NAPALM DEATH's second drummer. He joined after one of the founding members (Miles "The Rat" Ratledge) left the band in November 1985. His first live appearance with the band was on January 18, 1986, opening for AMEBIX. Harris was the sole band member who remained in the tumultuous group through many lineup changes and finally left in 1991, just after the tour for "Harmony Corruption". While in NAPALM DEATH, Harris also played drums for DOOM and EXTREME NOISE TERROR, and participated in a side project with NAPALM DEATH guitarist Mitch Harris called DEFECATION, which produced one record, "Purity Dilution", on Nuclear Blast.
